Literature: The
word literature has been derived from Latin word “Litera” which means ‘Letter’.
This is applied for all works either prose or poetry which are written for the
aesthetic excellence.
Literary Genre: A Literary Genre is a part of Literature. The word “Genre” is derived in early 19th
century from French word which means ‘A Kind’. It can be a piece of writing,
film or music.
