communication.

Formal

One-way
Communication: Example –
radio, television, announcements.
Two-way
Communication: Example –
discussions, meetings, conversations.

Non-Verbal Communication
Communicating without words, using body
language, gestures, facial expressions, tone, and visual cues.
It supports verbal messages and conveys
emotions and attitudes.
Main components include:
Kinesics: Body movements, gestures, posture, and facial
expressions.
Proxemics: Physical distance between communicators
(intimate, personal, social, public).
Chronemics: Use of time to express personality or respect.
Paralanguage: Voice qualities like tone, pitch, and volume.
Appearance: Dress, grooming, and physical presence.
Symbols: Religious or cultural signs that communicate
meaning.
Aesthetics: Expression through art, music, dance, and
literature.

Use clear, concise, and polite language
appropriate to the audience.
Avoid jargon, slang, or overly technical words.
Maintain proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Be goal-oriented – know what
