Ans: In the essay ‘‘How Wealth Accumulates and Man Decay’’ Shaw depicts the impact of machines on the life of modern man. He is of the view that modern man has been greatly affected by machines. The so called modern man has become himself a machine as he does not have any knowledge or sill. He compares the modern world of machines with the world that was not so much civilized, though more resourceful, more intelligent and more skillful than the so called modern civilized society. The people of the past used to produce all the things manually with the help of their hands. This was making the people of those days more skillful and knowledgeable. They had full about how the things were manufactured from beginning to the end.
